郑家成、顾嘉煇与长者共庆元宵

今天( 2 月 22 日) 是元宵佳节,除与情人甜蜜渡过之余,亦可做做善事,为身边一些被遗忘了的人送上祝福。

周大福慈善基金主席郑家成、理事纪文凤就联同「香港乐坛教父」顾嘉煇等人,日前与 50 多位长者春茗贺新年、大派利是及福袋,以提早庆祝元宵。

由周大福慈善基金赞助及策划的「竹福伴我行-持续探访独居长者计划」,自去年 9 月起,安排周大福爱心义工在为期 6 个月内,持续探访独居老人,为他们送上关怀,更慰问竹园多位曾经历丧亲的长者,为他们制作生命故事册,记下他们的生活点滴,陪伴他们走过伤痛时刻,减低其孤独感、让他们重拾积极人生。

周大福慈善基金早前又举办春茗联欢会,延开十多席,邀请长者庆新春,更特别邀请殿堂级乐坛教父顾嘉煇任特别嘉宾,即场指挥长者唱《啼笑姻缘》及《祝福你》等多首经典金曲。

「自己也是老友记,故特别关顾长者需要。只要保持快乐心境,长者也可以活得十分年青!」顾嘉煇说。

郑家成透露,多年来都喜欢听顾嘉煇所写的歌,尤其是《狮子山下》:「一打开收音机或电视,经常都听到煇哥的歌,对长者来说,听后也有共鸣。」他更透露周大福慈善基金多年来有赞助经济有需要的小朋友学习音乐,发挥他们的音乐潜能。

顾嘉煇金紫荆慈善演唱会将于本月 26 及 27 日举行,周大福慈善基金送出演唱会门票给长者及其照顾者,让他们可以现场欣赏顾嘉煇名曲。

NGO offers relocation support with an interest-free loan of $8,000 for households residing in sub-divided units (Chinese only)

In partnership with H.K.S.K.H. Lady MacLehose Centre Group and Community Work Unit, the Foundation supported the Common Lab Project for a three year period since 2017. It provides support including loan and movers service to alleviate the burden of the low income families residing sub-divided flats and promote mutual support in the community.

The beneficiaries appreciate the timely support from the programme while the academia involved in the study commented that the micro-fund scheme of the programme was a breakthrough in Hong Kong.
