2 月 11 日元宵佳節,周大福慈善基金代表及「周大福愛心義工隊」與家人及情人甜蜜歡渡之餘,亦不忘與一班竹園邨的老友記共渡佳節。

周大福慈善基金主席鄭家成、理事紀文鳳聯同「周大福愛心義工隊」一行十多人,日前與二十多位居於竹園邨的長者,齊集竹園馬田法政牧師長者綜合服務中心,齊賀元宵佳節,為長者送上真摯的祝福。

基金主席鄭家成讚揚在座長者,對他們積極參與中心活動作出鼓勵,並祝福他們常常保持心境開朗,與老友記分享開心時刻,大家互相扶持,發揮互助精神。

基金代表及「周大福愛心義工隊」隊員,為在場長者準備了豐富遊戲,包括猜燈謎、拼對揮春,即場大派愛心利是及福袋,更在出隊探訪前一同吃湯丸,與老友記一起歡渡節日,長者們對義工們悉心安排表示感激。

基金主席鄭家成、理事紀文鳳更在社工陪同下,親身探訪竹園邨內多位獨居長者,了解他們的需要,並親身送上關懷,期望給獨居長者心靈上的支持,讓他們感受到社會大眾的關愛及元宵佳節的歡樂。

在周大福慈善基金的贊助下,周大福集團的愛心義工隊自2015年9月開始與竹園馬田法政牧師長者綜合服務中心合辦「竹福伴我行-持續探訪獨居長者計劃」,安排周大福愛心義工持續探訪竹園村區內獨居老人,為他們送上關懷,更陪伴多位經歷喪親的長者,陪伴他們走過傷痛時刻,減低其孤獨感、讓他們重拾積極人生,近年義工更協助中心為患有輕度認知障礙症的長者進行簡單訓練活動。

NGO offers relocation support with an interest-free loan of $8,000 for households residing in sub-divided units (Chinese only)

In partnership with H.K.S.K.H. Lady MacLehose Centre Group and Community Work Unit, the Foundation supported the Common Lab Project for a three year period since 2017. It provides support including loan and movers service to alleviate the burden of the low income families residing sub-divided flats and promote mutual support in the community.

The beneficiaries appreciate the timely support from the programme while the academia involved in the study commented that the micro-fund scheme of the programme was a breakthrough in Hong Kong.
